Twenty Steps From the Front Door

Danny Ford planted Gulf City Church in Destin, Florida. Some of his members got into a real conversation with the people living closest to them, and those neighbors came to Christ. The whole mission field turned out to be about twenty steps from their own front door.

So the church made a ministry of it. 20 Steps Ministries trains members to evangelize the people already nearest them, which is to say the house next door, the unit across the landing, the driveway they back out of every morning. It runs alongside NAMB's Who's Your One emphasis, and it needs no budget, no building, and nothing added to the calendar.
